When I established Aaron Lang Photography after returning from Europe I asked myself what worked in the current photography industry across New Zealand and the South Pacific and what was wrong with it? What do clients want from photography in today's age of digital technology? The answer... We found you wanted modern, documentary or story telling based photographic images that were based around having loads of fun and to own all digital negatives and photos without extra costs. We have our fair share of opposition from other photography companies as its well known professional photography associations discourage their members from giving up any form of Copyright. We feel this is wrong and choose to operate our company with a sense of transparency. Why should we hold your photos from you unless you pay extra? The Aaron Lang Photography approach to your day Aaron Lang photography is the future of wedding photography today... we are the forefront of creative wedding photography and consistently lead the industry. Our style is fun, romantic and creative but most of all FUN! We know that Brides and Grooms seek a difference and want unique photos that differ from the traditional wedding photographer. At Aaron Lang Photography we know what to look for as regards to capturing the day, we know what to expect next and capture just that, most clients have no idea we got certain shots until they receive there discs because they forget we are there. We pride ourselves on being invisible thought-out the preparation and ceremony until its creative photo time....it's here the fun starts and our personalities shine. We allow the shoot to flow with fun natural images and very little posing if any. Original negatives are yours... what does that mean? Your digital negatives are yours, these are the original photos straight from the camera, we give you these with no extra charge, you own them, they are yours, yes yours! We don't want to keep your photographs from you, you have commissioned us to photograph your day, not keep your photos from you and sell them to you for an extra charge. Our clients receive every photographic image that we capture copied to DVD... yes, every single photo! Then... We take the best images from the day and turn them into art, this is the 'post production editing' part where we produce black & white images, enhance images, crop them and make them perfect. This is where we edit you a variety of Black and White, cross processed (color and Black and white, sepia etc for images that suit. We make sure all the colors are correct and lighting perfect, then we burn these on to a separate disc. These are hi res files suitable to enlarge and print on whatever medium you chose. After that... we place these "best images" on DVD slideshow along with a soundtrack of your choice. This is a great way to show off to your friends and an even better way to choose your album photos if you decide on a package including a Queensberry Album. Edited images. How many?? Based on a typical wedding day where we would shoot approximately 4 -5 hours worth of photography time... you can expect between 200 - 500 edited images. So what can you do with these images. Whatever you want, they are yours! Upload to Facebook, print on whatever medium you choose, canvas, glass, corrugated iron etc. Make you own album or choose a package complete with a beautiful Queensberry Album. Make your own coffee table book or just view them on your computer. Email and share your photos.

One wedding per day per photographer... We only take one wedding booking each day for our photographers, we don't try to squeeze extra weddings into one day. We put all our efforts into making your day awesome. It takes allot of effort and creativity to conclude a wedding and cover all the photos you as our client has come to expect. We are always available to stay longer should you need us. Online wedding album We offer a sneak peek of your wedding images for you to view and share with your guests/family and friends within 7-10 days of your wedding. It is also a buzz to get a link with a  few photos while on your honeymoon so you can relive your day.

• A Studios team shoot Digital Photographs for your convenience and all images are yours to own on disc, yours to use as you wish – you can email to friends, up load on your website/Facebook or Bebo , print for an album, canvas or what ever medium you choose. We Don't hold a Copyright over your photos!

(A traditional wedding photographer may sell you a package that includes 40-100 prints – you do not own your photos – they do! If you want more prints, enlargements or your photos in digital format you may pay extra).

• Our team works with Queensberry Albums to create beautiful, lifetime heirloom albums with options for different sizes and amounts of albums – say a thank you to Mum and Dad by giving them their own precious keepsake!

• Our team shoots natural candid images. They specialize in capturing fun and creative outdoor images – not posed studio type shots.

• Aaron Lang does all post production of clients images to maintain strict quality control, this includes providing a range of color, black and white and sepia photos, or a mixture of both.

• Aaron Lang Photography and A studios website has a huge portfolio of recent weddings – clients can see how many weddings he has done lately and his style of photography (other photographers may only show a few of their best images which don’t really give an indication of their style, how much work they have done or how recently).
